To send the icon of the person you wish to link...
Type in
:icon followed by the exact name, letters are not case sensitive. And then close again with :

To send simply a name link, place in :dev followed by the name, and close again with :

I'm not sure how to send links of deviations, perhaps the same as sending just the name of deviants. Anyway, I'm sure I'll find your piece to comment on it. And you do not need to take down the whole deviation, there is an "Edit deviation" button near the bottom, and with that you can edit the description if you wish to put more things in. =]
